Rep. Veasey's 33rd Congressional District Job Fair set for Nov. 21
Over 70 Employers Looking to Fill Job Vacancies
Dallas, TX – In his continuing efforts to serve the citizens of Texas' 33rd Congressional District, Congressman Marc Veasey invites individuals seeking help with employment to a free job and resource fair from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00p.m. (CT) on Friday, November 21, 2014.
The annual employment event, which will take place at Mountain View Community College in Dallas, will offer participants the opportunity to meet more than 70 potential employers and to network with professionals representing a variety of fields such as public safety, manufacturing, service, health care, education and other industries.
Congressman Veasey is also pleased to welcome employers and Workforce Solutions of Dallas and Tarrant Counties to provide free professional development workshops designed to help the attendees with employment training on topics including resume critiquing, networking, job search tips, and veteran-to-civilian transition.
Last year's Job Fair, in Fort Worth, attracted over 1,000 job-seekers.
