Rep. Veasey Announces Placement on the House Committee on Small Business
Washington, D.C.- Rep. Veasey (D-TX) is proud to announce his new appointment to the House Committee on Small Business for the 116th Congress. Congressman Veasey released the following statement on the new placement:
“I’m honored to represent the people of North Texas on the House Committee on Small Business. One of my priorities in this committee is to see growth in the business sector, and remove the financial barriers minority-owned small businesses face to create more opportunity and good-paying jobs in North Texas. Diversity and strength is the engine of American innovation and economic success. Therefore, I’m excited to move forward with Chairwoman Velázquez and my colleagues to implement legislation to help grow minority and women-owned small businesses in Texas and across the country.”
