Fort Worth, TX – Congressman Marc Veasey (TX-33), along with the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), will host the 33rd Congressional District Job Fair in Fort Worth on Monday, December 9, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to help local residents find good jobs in the community. This event is part of Rep. Veasey’s efforts to create jobs and rebuild the economy.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Marc Veasey (TX-33) will present Poly U.S. history teacher and “A Teach for America” corps member, Graham Sharpe, with the 2013 Humanities Texas Award for Outstanding Early-Career. Out of hundreds of nominations from across the Lone Star state, Mr. Sharpe was one of three teachers selected for the prestigious honor.
