With the heat of the day beating down on downtown Dallas, a mass of people dressed in red, white and blue packed Pearl Street in front of Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe.

They held up American flags and signs that read “Rise Up” and chanted in Spanish, “Sì se puede.”
