CAPITOL DIVIDED OVER SYRIA STRIKES Capitol Hill is divided over President Donald Trump’s decision to launch missile strikes against Syria, but not along partisan lines. Trump’s action, taken after the Syrian government killed dozens of its own innocent people using chemical weapons earlier this week, was mostly supported by congressional leaders on both sides of the aisle.
