Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Marc Veasey was named by Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi to serve on the conference committee for the FY19 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), a bill that authorizes funding for the Department of Defense for the next fiscal year.
Washington, D.C.- Congressman Marc Veasey (TX-33) issued the following statement on the Trump Administration's 'Zero Tolerance' immigration policy:
"My district, in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex, has the highest uninsured rate of any Congressional District in the country. The Justice Department’s brief urging the Texas courts to strike down a provision of the ACA jeopardizes the healthcare of millions of Texans,” said Congressman Veasey.
