Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Marc Veasey was named by Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi to serve on the conference committee for the FY19 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), a bill that authorizes funding for the Department of Defense for the next fiscal year.

"My district, in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex, has the highest uninsured rate of any Congressional District in the country. The Justice Department’s brief urging the Texas courts to strike down a provision of the ACA jeopardizes the healthcare of millions of Texans,” said Congressman Veasey.
